Industry Use Cases with Demonstration on Kubernetes

On March 8, LinuxWorld organised an expert session on Kubernetes where the Industry experts, Rushil Sharma sir (Customer Engineer Hybrid Cloud, Google), Vijit Kuntal sir (Infosys Belgium) and Neeraj Bhatt sir (Senior Technical Engineer - Openshift, Redhat) were present and they gave an excellent demonstration on Kubernetes and it's industrial use cases.

There are a lot of things I've learned like:-

  • Git, branches, commits, and hooks in action. The use of the rest API by git to operate in parallel.

  • CVS - Centralized version control systems are based on the idea that there is a single “central” copy of your project on a server.

  • GTM stands for "global time management." Creating the potential to continually cause errors in your production system is what chaos testing is all about. A bank case study was demonstrated in practice.

  • SIT stands for system integration testing.

  • Also learnt about CPU limits, request and leaks, namespaces, context constrain the use of Graffana.

All thanks to Mr Vimal Daga Sir and the whole LinuxWorld Team for organising this Expert Session.

Thank you
